Arizaro

Overview

The Arizaro Project is a lithium brine project covering a surface of 21,850 hectares. It is located in the salt flat of the same name in the province of Salta, northeast of the Argentine Republic.

Hanari SA has been working on an exploration program since May 2018 that focuses on direct surface exploration (geochemical sampling and geologic mapping) as well as indirect exploration methods such as geophysics (TEM-GRAV). The data collected meant that the region was relevant to us leading to successful drilling in the region during the first trimester of 2019. As a result, we managed to identify levels with significant volumes of brine and learned about the geochemical characteristics thoroughly. We are now planning more exploration drillings and considering the most suitable extraction technologies for the project brines.
