On November 22, 2024, the “Museo de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires (MARQ)” was the setting for a momentous event: the presentation of “Miradas sobre Beijing”, the inaugural work of the Publishing House Fundación Hanaq. This event not only represents a significant achievement for the Foundation, but also a valuable contribution to the field of architecture and the study of global urban culture.
“Miradas sobre Beijing” offers an in-depth and diverse analysis of Chinese architecture, spanning from its historical roots to its contemporary expressions, with a special focus on the city of Beijing. This book stands as a bridge between disciplines and geographies, strengthening interdisciplinary studies on China in Latin America and consolidating the Hanaq Foundation’s commitment to promoting mutual understanding between Latin America and China.
