Surface Exploration in Arizaro

The Arizaro project is a Lithium in brine project, with an area of 21,850 hectares, located in the salt flat of the same name, in the province of Salta, northwest of the Argentine Republic.

The exploration program that Hanari S.A. has been carrying out since May 2018 includes direct surface exploration (geochemical trench sampling and geological mapping), as well as indirect exploration techniques such as geophysics (TEM-GRAV). These data have allowed us to identify areas of interest, which has been successfully drilled during the first quarter of 2019. These drillings allowed us to identify levels carrying significant volumes of brine and to know the geochemical characteristics at depth. Further exploration drilling is currently planned and the extraction technologies that best suit the characteristics of the project’s brines are being evaluated.
