Management Team


Founder and CEO

Mr. Xiaohuan Tang is the founder of Hanaq Group. He worked as Chief Operation Officer at Wealth Minerals Canada, responsible for its mining projects in South America. He was the General Manager in Jinzhao Mining for the development of Pampa of Pongo project in Perú, which was then successfully sold for 800MUSD. He also worked at Standard Bank, in the area of structured mining finance for mining projects in South America. Prior to Standard Bank, he was a mining consultant for the British Commonwealth Office of South America. Apart from his experience in South America, Mr. Tang has also explored different mining projects in Central America.

He is a director at Wealth Minerals and MAPEAL Macau. He is also a member of Chatham House. Mr. Tang received his BEng from Tsinghua University in China. He also holds Masters’ Degrees from the Imperial College London, Oxford University, and Cambridge University. Chinese is his mother language. He is fluent in English and Spanish.



Mr. Agustin Saravia Frias is a principle partner in the law firm Saravia Frias & Cornejo Asociados in Salta, where he specialised in the industry of natural resources. He previously worked at Marval O’Farrell & Mairal in Buenos Aires, focusing on debt restructuring and M&A.

He participated as guest panelist in “The meeting of the group of senior expert on the sustainable development of lithium in Latin America: Emergent issues and opportunities” in Santiago de Chile (2010) and in publications in the center for energy, petroleum and mineral law & policy CEPMLP Annual review (CAR) CE.

Mr. Saravia Frias is a lawyer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and received his Master’s Degree in mining law from the University of Dundee sponsored by Rio Tinto/Foreign and Commonwealth Office. His mother language is Spanish and his English is fluent.



Mr. Xiuhong Li held Senior Management positions in several mining companies in Latin America for more than twenty years, including his most recent position of vice-president at MCC Minera Sierra Grande SA in Argentina. He has been CFO and director of the same company, where he supervises the elaboration of the Feasibility Study and its presentation to the mining authority to obtain the certificate of fiscal stability. He also served as finance Director at Junefield Group SAA in Peru, where he specialized in accounting taxes labour and financial matters.

Mr. Li made the professional career of accounting in China and Peru. Chinese is his mother tongue. He also speaks English and Spanish.


Exploration Manager

Mr. Raúl Chocobar worked as a senior mining exploration geologist in the geological departments of Puna and Cordillera Oriental in Argentina for Glencore – Minera Aguilar and Salta Exploraciones – Cascadero Copper Corp. He also worked as an independent mining consultant for local companies in Argentina like AGV Servicios Mineros SRL; foreign companies like Mineração Santa Elina Indústria e Comércio and Argentine government agencies such as REMSA S.A. (Recursos Energéticos y Mineros de Salta). He currently collaborates in the Mining Chamber of the Province of Salta; he is also a member of the Association of Economic Geologists and Founding Partner of AMINCO S.R.L, a mining consulting company that works actively in the local environment.

Mr. Chocobar is a geologist with a degree from the National University of Salta. He was a scholar of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET), he completed a doctorate in geological sciences and also participated actively in postgraduate courses, publications in journals and conferences. He was part of research projects too. His mother language is Spanish; he is fluent in English and Portuguese.


Project Manager

Mr. Martín Andreatta was the Manager of the NOA’s Business Unit in Mining Services in Argentina, owned by Ezentis Group, and was responsible for the projects in the construction of Olaroz’s salt flat facilities. He worked as Commercial Development Manager in Shanska Argentina, a multinational engineering and construction company located in Sweden, for several mining projects in Argentina. Prior to Shanska, Mr. Andreatta was General Manager at REMSA (Salta Energy and Mining Resources) and worked at the Transportadora de Gas del Norte company, owned by Techint Group, Total, Petronas and others, as Chief Financial Officer and Planning.

He was a professor at the University of Buenos Aires and at the University of Palermo, in Argentina. His teaching field was corporate finance, budget management, project evaluation and asset valuation.

Mr. Andreatta is an Industrial Engineer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina. He received a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from IAE Business School. Spanish is his mother language and he is fluent in English and Italian.
